長物 Superfluous Matters
by Rose Wei

The existence of superfluous matters is perhaps, to contain our inappropriate, overabundant thoughts.
“Superfluous Matters” by Rose Wei is a collection of poetry, proses and images. Objects of indefinite forms linger within pages, they softly speak about moments, fragments, and beliefs that seem to slip into irrelevance.

Colours emerge within French-fold pages, leaving only b&w text and images on the surface. Readers are confronted with the choice of holding on or destroying the book, making it as superfluous as the very objects it seeks to describe.
